Jessica says:

I am a very healthy, active, physically fit mid-thirties mom of three equally fit and fun kiddos. I hike, do yoga, ride my horse, play with the kids at the park, run, and do weights at the gym. We rarely get sick. Occasional sniffles or coughs, but once a year a sickness will hit at least one family member requiring bed time. I took my fancy mail order multivitamins and probiotics daily without fail. You might think, “Well, hey… if you weren’t debilitated, why would you go looking for something?” In short, I knew down to my core that feeling “great” is a huge difference from feeling “okay” or “fine”.

I’d have a ritualistic and desperately needed latte every morning. I couldn’t function properly without it. Sometimes on very stressful days, it would be another tall latte in the afternoons. Soy lattes. I told myself it was all good and healthy due to the anti-oxidants and soy protein; but in truth I didn’t like having a NEED for coffee. If I didn’t have my coffee, I’d have a wretched headache. Due to stress in the New Year, I was starting to order fancier sweeter coffee drinks. I knew I was in trouble when I was craving the sugary syrups.

On the other side of the day I was also ritualistic about a half glass of wine while cooking meals for my family. I called it my time to unwind. I found that if I didn’t have the wine, I’d have trouble sleeping. I was exhausted, all the time! I had trouble falling asleep, trouble waking up and the midday slump was a complete crash. I found myself power-napping to get through the day, and this was with the coffee. Physically everything checked out with my doctor, acupuncturist and chiropractor. They were actually impressed at my health! They basically said take it easy and that it’s hard having three young kids. No kidding! I had resigned myself to lowered expectations for my energy level, ability to handle stress, and general exhaustion. But I didn’t want to give up; I knew there had to be a way to feel better.

I am so glad I talked to Tamara! I am not yet through with my second month of my delicious nutritional beverage and I am a seriously happy customer. I have not had a feeling of needing or wanting coffee in over two weeks. This is HUGE! I have not craved alcohol in about three weeks. My midday crash that used to hit at 2pm has vanished and I feel a little dip around 4 or 5pm. My sleep is better, therefore my concentration, ability to handle stressful situations objectively is improved. Most importantly, I feel nourished and whole. There’s no other way to put it. My body doesn’t feel thirsty for junk because it appears to have all that it needs to feel good. It is a wonderful feeling, and I feel like I have my life back in so so so many ways. I am grateful.

UPDATE

I was out of town last week for the first time taking the kids to Disney. What a trip! We loved having our gel packets for travel. Our cousins were all catching colds and sniffles but we have come home happy and healthy. Amazing stuff!

Danielle says:

I’ve been having problems sleeping. Stress got me to the point where I didn’t want to hit the gym in the mornings, just making things worse really. Tamara suggested a delicious pure and natural energy drink instead of my morning coffee. Not only are my workouts better but my energy level is up during the workout, stays level throughout, and I don’t have the highs and lows I get with coffee or other energy drinks. I drink it in combination with an acai-rich nutritional beverage with liquid glucosamine that she recommended to help my joints feel better and my workouts more effective. I’d really suggest that combination for anyone who is wants more pep in a healthier fashion.
